Better Voice is a trademark of Voyant Communications, LLC (“Company” or “we”). We understand that our customers’ privacy is important to them, and we are serious about preserving our customers’ privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the http://www.bettervoice.com website and all “Better Voice” branded products and services and explains what information we collect and how we use that information.

Information Collected by Company

The recorded speech may have been spoken by you or may have been spoken by others and directed to you. The recorded speech may be associated with other information such as the location of the sender or recipient. For example, the recorded speech may be a voicemail message left for you at your personal phone number. Company may use your personal information, described above, and the recorded speech and text transcriptions for research purposes and to develop and improve its products and services, for example, by improving the quality of its speech recognition technology. Research and quality improvements may involve humans listening to the recorded speech to manually transcribe the audio or to improve transcription accuracy so that we can provide the best services possible. Company may also use the recorded speech and text transcriptions to provide targeted advertising to you. Company will not use the recorded speech and text transcriptions for any other purpose without your consent.

Certain Company products and services may log information concerning your use of the product or service. For example, Company’s service that provides text transcriptions of voicemail may log information concerning each voicemail message received by you, including the date, time, and duration of the voicemail message and information about the caller, such as the caller’s phone number. Company may use this information to improve the quality of its products and services and to provide targeted advertising to you.

Other Information Used by Company

In addition to information provided by you, Company may use publicly available information to improve its products and services and to provide targeted advertising to you. For example, we may use the phone number of a person leaving a voicemail message to you to determine the name of the caller.

Use of Your Information
